I've done what I can... signed the petitions, sent mails to the relevant authorities, and so on.
Thing is, that sort of campaign pulled the Original Series through to a 3rd season, and Enterprise into a 4th... I'm not convinced it can work again.
We may have to resign ourselves to the fact that we won't see any fresh Trek after May.
Although the Trek franchise is still going... the gaming side of it will probably persist for a few years at least. Star Trek Online, the MMORPG is set to start beta-testing next year.
